Relationships and Religion - Initial
Relationships
What do relationships mean to you?
It is built on honesty and or tricks, depending on the type of
relationship. As I ponder this, IA believe that in order to
have a good honest relationship you must have and understand the
relationship you have with God; as he is the foundation. Matt 6:33 NKJ.
At birth we all were born with a
measure of God in us; remember he blew the breath of life in all of us.
We all have a measure of God in us, no matter how bad or good we appear.
We need to recognize that he is in us, tap into the light; become one
with the light. Know that it's God and he alone is in ultimate control.
Begin to allow the light to grow inside of us. As the light grows
our relationship is being developed. When we understand that
relationship, then and only then
are we able to form all kinds of relationships. Parent, Church, children,
sibling, relatives, school teachers, college professors, friend, managers,
employees, coworkers and husbands, wives, etc.
When we have developed relationships
of this kind, we will understand the ground rules. Most of us just give
up trying to establish good relationship. I am unsure why we need great relationship to thrive and prosper with
our brethren on planet earth.
What does God require of us, that we
love him and each other. Matt 22:37-40. When we live our lives with God's principles, we
will be satisfied in knowing that we are pleasing in his sight. He is the
first one we should try
to please. We spend our entire lifetime acquiring things; to find out
that things do not make us happy maybe comfortable us for the moment. Matt
16:26 NKJ. God does not mind us
having things as long as the things don't have us. We will do anything to
get them and anything to keep them. That is not the way God intended for
us to live. We must focus on the light, if we want inner peace.......and peace is what all of us seeks..
